How would you handle such a situation?

With the rise of the terrorist threat globally, security guards must be more vigilant than ever. When patrolling clients’ sites, they must identify suspicious objects or behaviours and act accordingly without unduly alarming the public if possible.

This training provides basic knowledge and understanding of explosive devices, hazardous materials and emergency procedures (search, evacuation, cooperation with public forces, etc.).

Subject matter

Upon completion of this training, the student will be able to :

• Identify explosive devices
• Know various types of incidents and CBRN attacks
• Identify chemical, biological, radiological and nuclear threats
• Identify and search suspicious objects
• Apply standard emergency procedures
